YOUTH COACHING

For teens, young adults, and the people who support them.

MY APPROACH

Young adulthood is full of big decisions, shifting relationships, and the pressure to figure it all out — often without a clear roadmap. I help young people slow down, sort through what matters to them, and move forward with greater confidence and direction.

I work with teens and young adults navigating things like choosing a college, figuring out a creative path, or identifying what they want and how to get there. That can also mean finding motivation, honing organizational skills, managing anxiety around big transitions, working through friendship and relationship challenges, or finding their footing after a plan falls apart.

My work focuses on listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients identify possibilities to hone in on an approach that feels right for them.

ABOUT ME

I am a New York City-based YCI-certified coach, a third-generation artist and educator, and an Emmy Award–winning documentarian and storyteller.

I began this work as a youth coach out of a lifelong passion for young people. I act as an objective guide where parental figures cannot. Connecting with young people comes naturally to me and I truly enjoy it — it's what allows me to meet them where they are and use humor to make the process feel comfortable and real.

I don't tell anyone what to do. I help people hear themselves more clearly so they can make thoughtful choices about what comes next.I work with young people in New York City and remotely.

I work with young people in New York City, Cape Cod, and nationally via remote sessions. To learn more or schedule a fifteen minute consultation free of charge text or call 347.699.0966

WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is collaborative, present-focused, and goal-oriented — emotional, creative, and practical. It's not advice or instruction. It's a process that helps you articulate what matters, sort through decisions, and take practical steps toward what comes next.

COACHING VS. THERAPY

Where therapy often focuses on healing the past, coaching is oriented toward the present — working with where you are and helping you move with intention to define your goals and make improvements. Therapy works with what's broken; coaching takes what is working and makes it better.

For me, it feels like magic when someone finds their way simply through asking just the right questions. I'm continuously amazed by how much we already know about what is best for ourselves.
